Layered graft technique with allogenic and heterogenic graft materials in maxillary sinus graft

Abstract
Maxillary sinus graft procedures are already routine procedures for the implant installation on the maxillar molar area with alveolar bone atrophy because of resorption of alvolar bone and pneumatization of maxillary sinus cavity. And the prognosis of the maxillary sinus graft are very good. Recently there are many allogenic and heterogenic bone graft materials which are good characteristics for graft materials. The allogenic graft materials are relatively rapid resorption, so
mixtrue with heterogenic or alloplastic material are used for prevention of rapid resorption of graft materials.
We did the layered graft technique with allogenic and heterogenic graft materials for the maxillary sinus graft instead of mixture of allogenic and heterogenic graft materials. Lower layer was the allogenic graft materials for the good osteoinduction and osteoconduction from maxillary sinus cavity wall, and upper layer was the heterogenic graft materials for the prevention of rapid resorption from maxillary sinus pneumatization.
